Psychotherapy is a process that will help you understand yourself and relate to others. It can be used to deal with a variety of issues that occur in everyday life.

Our psychotherapists are highly trained and they use a combination of skills and approaches to suit individual clients. You will find a place of safety, where you are allowed to express your emotions and be heard, and where you will find new ways of relating to your world.

The psychotherapist will agree a course of action with you that will be designed to help you understand and resolve the problem you are facing.

You will together decide how long the treatment will last and you will meet at least weekly during that period. Each session will last for fifty minutes and will usually be face-to-face.

Bio :
Clare started her professional life as research chemist, working for more than a decade in research, development and manufacturing. After taking time out to have a family she realised that her previous career was too detached from the people she really wanted to help.  Her interest in hypnotherapy began when a friend recommended it for post-natal depression. The treatment was so successful that Clare used hypnotic techniques to prepare for the birth of her second child resulting in a calm, natural and joyful experience, and not a hint of PND!

Clare has helped a growing number of people with issues as diverse as
·        phobias,
·        pain control,
·        anger management,
·        post traumatic stress,
·        confidence
·        difficulty sleeping,
·        children & parenting concerns (toileting, patient parenting),
·        breaking habits such as nail biting
·        weight management.

Clare is qualified in Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is a member of The Hypnotherapy Association and The General Hypnotherapy Register.
